Govt. rules state that only if the school has more than 50 kids per Malayalam section, can an English Medium Section be set up. Getting such large numbers of students is rare, since parents today bend over backwards to send their children to an English medium school. The ability to communicate in English is an important value add for these students and their parents, so we sponsor monthly classes for the same for 6 months (2017-18). We alongside also help develop a curriculum and empower the school English teacher to plan for conducting in house classes.
